As a Senior UX Designer at Codemonk, you will play a pivotal role in creating user-centered design solutions for our lending platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall user experience, ensuring that our products are intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional.

Key Responsibilities:

1. User Research: Conduct in-depth user research to gain insights into the needs, behaviors, and pain points of small and medium-sized business owners and their financial processes.

2. Information Architecture: Develop and maintain a clear and organized information architecture for our lending platform, ensuring an efficient and intuitive user journey.

3. Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.

4. User Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions with real users to gather feedback and make data-driven design improvements.

5. Interaction Design: Design and optimize user interactions, including forms, navigation, and other interactive elements.

6. Visual Design: Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing interfaces that align with our brand and engage our users.

7. Accessibility: Ensure that all designs are accessible and compliant with relevant accessibility standards.

8. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate user experience design into the development process.

9. User Feedback: Collect and analyze user feedback and usage data to identify areas for improvement and iterate on design solutions.

10. Documentation: Create and maintain design documentation, style guides, and design principles to ensure consistency in design across the organization.

11. Stay Current: Stay up to date with the latest UX trends, tools, and best practices, and share your knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in designing digital products for web and mobile.

• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

• Experience with usability testing and user research techniques.

• Knowledge of web accessibility and a commitment to designing for all users.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.

• A passion for small and medium business lending and a dedication to improving their financial experiences.

• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
