Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the upgraded DevOps toolset on the newly provisioned infrastructure.

• Upgrade and configure Atlassian Bitbucket, Bamboo, Nexus, SonarQube, and Nagios on new servers as per the approved architecture.

• Perform application-by-application migration of source code repositories, branches, tags, pipeline jobs, and build history from the legacy platform to the new environment.

• Re-create, refactor, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in the upgraded Bamboo version to improve maintainability, security and performance.

• Standardize CI/CD pipeline templates across all application streams to achieve uniform DevOps governance and maintain consistency.

• Collaborate closely with Application and Operations teams during migration cutovers, validations, and post-deployment stabilization.

• Create detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and compatibility/version mapping sheets.

• Assess system performance, security posture, scalability impacts and implement DevOps best practices.

• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Security, DBA, Application, and Network teams to ensure environment readiness and integration alignment.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience in Bitbucket, Bamboo, Nexus, SonarQube, Nagios.

• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline engineering and automation.

• Proven experience in DevOps tools upgrades, cross-environment migrations, and platform modernization projects.

• Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python preferred).

• Strong knowledge of Git branching, version management strategy, and SCM workflows.

• Strong Linux administration & troubleshooting capabilities.

• Mandatory experience in Java build ecosystems (Maven / Ant).

• Exposure to Containers and Kubernetes (preferred, not mandatory).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent coordination, stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Strong analytical documentation, reporting and presentation skills.

Experience Required:

• 6 to 8 years of experience in end-to-end DevOps implementation and CI/CD pipeline engineering.
