About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience building and operating large-scale, data-driven applications. You’ll be a core member of our engineering team, owning end-to-end delivery—from architecting services to writing clean, tested code and shipping to production.

Key Responsibilities

● Design & Build APIs: Develop and maintain robust, scalable RESTful and/or GraphQL services in Node.js and Python.

● Data Modeling & Persistence: Design MongoDB schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity at scale.

● System Design & Architecture: Lead white-boarding sessions to architect microservices, event-driven pipelines, and high-availability systems.

● Performance & Reliability: Define SLAs/SLOs, implement monitoring/alerting, and perform capacity planning to meet uptime targets.

● Code Quality & Testing: Champion unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, enforce coding standards, and conduct peer code reviews.

Required Qualifications

3+ years hands-on experience with:

Node.js (Express, NestJS or similar)

MongoDB (data modeling, indexing, aggregation) Python

Strong analytical & logical thinking: Proven track record of solving complex problems and debugging distributed

systems.

Deep understanding of large-scale system design: Caching strategies, message queues, load balancing, sharding,

and failover.

Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals: Data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.

Experience with Git and collaborative workflows (code reviews, pull requests).

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

● Cloud Platforms: AWS (Lambda, EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch).

● AI/ML: Familiarity with training or serving models (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or using AWS SageMaker).

● Streaming & Real-Time: WebSockets, Kafka, or similar pub/sub systems.

● Containerization & Orchestration: Docker.

● Front-End Exposure: Basic experience with React, Vue, or Angular
